Be Still My Bleeding Heart

As in, "be still-I'm trying to take a picture"! It's a little windy here!
This year, we have a couple of new varieties of Bleeding Heart (dicentra) beside the old-fashioned (but still hip) bleeding heart.

This is a lovely bleeding heart called- "Gold Heart". As you may or may not be able to tell in this photo, the foliage is bright greenish-gold. This photo is of the new, young growth as it is now.

But just you wait, this is what it will look like in less than a month!
We also have a bleeding heart called "Valentine" (get it?-heart, valentine?). What is unusual about this dicentra is that it's foliage is fringed and a darker green than your average (but still lovely) old-fashioned bleeding heart. The flowers of "Valentine" are more on the red side of pink. It forms a tidy, 2'x2' clump.
And here it is in all it's glory!

And here is the plain, ordinary, just your run-of-the-mill bleeding heart in pink and white.

"Gold Heart" and "Valentine" $10 each
"Regular" $8 each
